Monoethylene Glycol (ANFRMOGL)

Monoethylene Glycol is a clear, colourless and that is fully miscible with water. It is used to reduce the freezing point of water and is frequently used as a coolant in automotive engines. It is useful as a stabiliser to freeze/thaw cycling and acts as a coupling agent between water and other components.

Application

Frequently used as an automotive de-icer, an anti-freeze in cooling systems and/or situations where the protection of water-based systems is required.

Directions

1. Drain and flush the system with clean water

2. Half-fill the cooling system with water

3. Add the recommended quantity of Monoethylene Glycol according to the frost protection desired

4. Fill up system slowly to the recommended level with clean water

5. Run the engine to operating temperature to ensure thorough mixing of the coolant6. Remove filler cap and recheck the coolant level

Environmental

Dispose of chemicals in accordance with local environmental legislation

Handling
