Aerosol Dry Film Lubricant (AEDRFI)
Dry Film Lubricant is a blend of fine PTFE powder and colloidal graphite incorporated into a resin binder for a more permanent, durable coating. The product sprays to give a quick air drying dark grey coating reinforced with a blend of PTFE and graphite. The acrylic binder will adhere to a wide range of substrates but is particularly suited to clean, bright metal. The presence of graphite reduces friction. The coating will begin to soften at 100°C and will melt at 125°C.
Dry Film Lubricant has been formulated to provide a long-lasting PTFE reinforced durable coating for use on hard surfaces such as slides, benches and packaging machines. Safe on all metals and good paint work.
Shake aerosol thoroughly. Hold upright and spray a thin even film from 20 to 30cm onto a clean dry surface. Do not over spray. For a maximum effect a thin film is recommended. Allow film to dry before use. The film will dry in 6 to 12 minutes depending on temperature and humidity.
