Oilfield Corrosion Protector (OICOPR)

Description

Oilfield Corrosion Protector gives long term protection on ferrous and aluminium alloy components and is particularly suited to outdoor storage conditions and protection of machinery, bearings etc. during sea voyages.

Application

Dip Tank: Ensure ambient temperature is above 15°C or product will be too viscous for this type of application. Submerge components in fluid for 20 seconds and then raise and allow to drain. Place in drying area for up to 1 hour depending upon surrounding temperature and air flow.

Brush or Spray: Liberally apply to components and allow to dry. Covering Capacity: 20 m2/l. Depending on application temperature Protection:

Indoors minimum - 4 years
Covered Outdoors - minimum 3 years
Outdoors minimum - 1 year

Figures are dependent upon correct application procedures being followed. It is not necessary to remove the coating prior to installing bearings just re-grease.

Dispose of chemicals in accordance with local environmental legislation Local environment registrations.

Handling
