Guano Remover (GURE)

Description

GUANO REMOVER is a heavy-duty product designed for the removal of bird droppings from exterior hard surfaces. Comprised of organic acids and plant based surfactants it is effective in breaking down and dispersing layers of bird droppings so they can be subsequently removed with water. Designed for removal of deposits from unmanned offshore platforms.

Application

Although the product can be applied neat, it is recommended to dilute the product at a ratio of 1 part GUANO REMOVER to 10 parts fresh or sea water. The product is designed to be sprayed on and left for a period to allow the acid and surfactant to break down the deposit. Afterwards the loosened and dispersed bird droppings can be rinsed off with a hose or pressure washer. Care should be taken to ensure all traces of product are removed from the cleaned surfaces. Multiple applications may be required for severe fouling.
