BTEX Remover

Description

BTEX REMOVER, a novel, safer and environmentally friendly additive for use in spray-wash systems for the removal of airborne benzene, toluene, ethylbenzene and xylene and other aromatic liquids and vapours. BTEX REMOVER strips and encapsulates the aromatic hydrocarbons for safer waste processing.

Application

Can be applied at ambient temperature with a spray application, dilute from 5 to 10% up to a max of 50% in rare circumstances. Spray and allow to mix with contaminates.

Directions

Typically used at 5-10%, can be used up to 50%.

Environmental

Dispose of chemicals in accordance with local environmental legislation.

BTEX REMOVER is on the CEFAS list in the completion and work over category with a Gold classification and no-substitution warnings. CEFAS template is available on request.

Handling

Normal precautions should be taken for handling chemicals. Protective clothing, eye protection and gloves should be worn. For further, details please refer to the safety data sheet.

Storage

Store in a cool, dry location between 5°C and 25°C. Protect from freezing. Avoid direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. Store the product sealed in the original container to avoid air exposure.
