Marine Decarboniser (DECA)

Decarboniser is best applied in dip tanks for the removal of baked-on carbon on engine blocks, gearboxes etc. Brown/black in colour it also has a shelf life of 18 months and should be stored in a cool area away from heat sources. The product is safe on most non-ferrous, ferrous metals and Aluminium.

Use neat.

• Decarboniser contains Dichloromethane (methylene chloride). Suitable ventilation controls and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) should be in place.

• Users need mandatory training before handling products containing methylene chloride (as required in the UK).

• Additional marine or workplace-specific training may be required.

Dispose of chemicals in accordance with local environmental legislation Local environment registrations.
