Planting Trees with Cove Woodland Trust
In February 2022, we rolled up our sleeves and helped the Trust plant 600 Scots Pine trees, as part of our commitment to carbon offsetting.
FIS were delighted to get involved in planting the Scots Pines we purchased for the community of Cove, in partnership with Cove Woodland Trust. The Trust acquired 13 acres of land just south of Cove and are actioning plans to install a sensory garden, Japanese garden and reflection pond.
We plan to offset over 300 metric tonnes of Co2 equivalent over the life of the trees in the 3 acres we were allocated — reinforcing our commitment to a Net Zero future.
