Slop Breaker B (SB-B)

Description

Slop Breaker-B is a product designed to separate oily waste into its constituent 3 phases i.e., solids, water, and oil. A high-performance product it has wide application from breaking complex slop, treating oil storage tank bottoms and breaking waste muds. Designed to give optimal performance at low concentration.

Application

Slop Breaker-B should be dosed into the waste with sufficient stirring to ensure that the product is fully mixed through. Best performance will be found by applying heat (~65-80°C) to the waste/slop breaker-B and using suitable mechanical separation equipment such as centrifuges to split the oil, solids and water.

Dilutions

The product can be prediluted with water if required for more convenient dosing. Used neat, a 0.5-2% concentration is a good starting point. If possible, bottle testing in the lab should be used to optimise the dose level depending on the material to be separated.

Environmental

Dispose of chemicals in accordance with local environmental legislation.
