Marine Corrosion Remover Concentrate (CORRECO)
Description
Corrosion Remover Concentrate is a concentrated, high-performance rust remover for many industrial applications. It is ideal for the fast, efficient removal of rust from decks, bulkheads and ferrous surfaces. It is based on phosphoric acid and contains inhibitors to prevent flash rusting, after use. With over 60% active rust dissolver, it is intended to be used in demanding applications where the volume of rust is high or where rapid results are desired.
Application
Once diluted to the desired strength, the product can be used as in a dip-tank or brushed on. For smaller items, immersion is the best method to apply the product. Leave until rust is removed, then rinse with plenty of water, repeat as required. Neutralising solutions are also available from FIS if required.
Dilutions
ALWAYS add the product to water and not the reverse.
Typical dilutions can range from 1:18 to 1:3 (parts product to parts water).
Environmental
Dispose of chemicals in accordance with local environmental legislation.
Handling
Normal precautions should be taken for handling chemicals. Protective clothing, eye protection and gloves should be worn. For further details please refer to the safety data sheet.
Storage
Storage
Store in a cool, dry location between 5°C and 25°C. Protect from freezing. Avoid direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. Store the product sealed in the original container to avoid air exposure.
