Lowtox Xtra Fast (LOTOXTFA)

Description

Lowtox Xtra Fast is a highly refined non aromatic solvent cleaner specifically formulated for use on electric and electronic components. This product can be used as a degreaser for metals, plastics and painted surfaces including chlorinated rubber finishes.

Lowtox Xtra Fast is not designed to be used via vapour degreasing systems. This may be used on both steel and Aluminium surfaces prior to painting. Adhesion of etch primers is not affected and it is not aggressive to Viton or Neoprene rubber.

This product can help with the removal of corrosion preventative coatings, PX32, cleaning of electronic and electric equipment, hydraulic oil removal, removing carbon deposits from electric motors, aircraft wheel maintenance.

Lowtox Xtra Fast has been used widely for general cleaning, particularly where large components are involved and solvent vapour production may be harmful. As the solvent purity of Lowtox Xtra Fast is high, the preparation can be considered for use within nuclear power stations.

Most operations with Lowtox Xtra Fast are carried out at normal ambient temperatures; however, sometimes an increased evaporation rate by using warm air or higher operating temperatures is employed.

At 22°C the evaporation rate of Lowtox Xtra Fast is approximately 3 minutes. It is an extra fast drying, residue free version of Lowtox. It evaporates approximately six times faster than Lowtox and twice that of Lowtox Fast.

Lowtox 12 to 15 minutes

Lowtox Fast 6 to 8 minutes

Lowtox Xtra Fast 3 to 4 minutes

Lowtox DL – With addition of natural occurring terpenoid for added bite during degreasing.

Applications

Use at normal ambient temperatures. Test surface prior to large-scale application. Use as supplied without dilution. Apply by brush, spray or dip tank to article to be cleaned. Agitate stubborn deposits with soft brush before allowing to dry naturally or with air assistance.
