Basolve Descaler EP (BASDES)

Description

Basolve Descaler is an effective treatment to remove sulphate scales and deposits. Most sulphate scales are only minimally soluble in acids. BASOLVE is based on a powerful chelating agent that can remove scale deposits from surfaces. Very effective at dissolving BaSO4, SrSO4, CaSO4, CaCO4 as well as BaSO4, SrSO4, CaSO4, CaCO3 as well as Calcium Phosphate scales.

Application

Best diluted to 20-40% with fresh water before use. Heating will accelerate the dissolution of scale although it will dissolve scale at ambient temperature.

Directions

Immersion is the preferred method for removing scale either by flushing through the piping or equipment needed to be descaled. For thick deposits water jetting or mechanical methods may be best to remove loose material.

Basolve Descaler will not corrode ferrous metals but copper, zinc, nickel, brass, aluminium etc should be avoided.

Environmental

Dispose of chemicals in accordance with local environmental legislation.
